Are you getting fed up with your child's name tag's coming off their clothes in the wash?
Too lazy to use 'sew in' name tags?
Then UK based company MY NAMETAGS may have the solution for you!

MY NAMETAGS Review & Giveaway

I have recently been given the opportunity to try out My Nametags in their new Mr Men/Little Miss range.
My Nametags

Remember the Mr Men?! Mr Tickle used to always make me laugh with his long spaghetti arms :)
The first Mr Men book was published way back in 1971!
There have been sales of over 100 million books worldwide across 28 countries.
There is clearly a Mr Men in all of us.

Which one will you choose?

Ordering is really easy through their website just enter your child's name and pick their design then choose the stickers or iron on option. Easy as 1,2,3!

Struggling to decide whether to pick stickers or iron on?
Iron on labels are applied directly on to fabric. So they are the perfect solution when labelling items without a care label e.g. socks, underwear, pyjamas. They are also ideal for labelling the clothes of children that don't like having care labels in their clothes.
Colour stickers are designed to stick to hard surfaces and clothing care labels. Therefore they have 1000s of uses for children (school uniform, shoes, toys, school stationery) and adults (in the office, mobiles phones, golf clubs, etc)"
MY NAMETAGS deliver worldwide too so no matter where you are in the world, if you like what you see then place an order!

My Review

The My Nametags arrived next day in the post, as stated on their website. (They do tell you to allow up to 10 days)
We chose Mr Happy because Little T is a happy little chappy.
I also went for the sticker option so I could use on all his nursery items like cups, cutlery and books. (The stickers are dishwasher proof, microwave proof AND steriliser proof)
I had T.Walker put on the labels so his big brother could use on his school uniform too.

They arrived inside an envelope. When I opened the envelope the sheet of stickers was inside a plastic sleeve with the instructions clearly printed on the front.
My first impressions were how glossy looking the stickers were. When I peeled the first sticker off, which came off easily, I was impressed by the thickness of them. The sticker didn't feel overly 'sticky' so I was a bit apprehensive about how well it would adhere to items.
I started with Little T's beaker sticking it to the rim of his lid.
I also added one to the side and bottom to test where the best location for bonding was.
Ts Beaker
I then did his jackets and even his shoes!
The stickers adhered immediately following the instructions of ensuring the surfaces you are sticking to are clean and dry. They recommend to allow 24 hours before washing.

The Mr Men/Little Miss My Nametags are priced at £13.95 plus £1 postage and packaging for a sheet of 56 colour stickers or iron on labels which I think is a good price for the design and quality of the labels.

I will be posting an update at the end of the summer term to review the durability of My Nametags such as how well they have washed and if the label itself has deteriorated in any way. This way I can give an overall verdict on the product.

My views right now are they are priced well for the quality and design. Postage was quick and ordering was very easy.
